IV Ketamine Therapy in St. George, Utah

Satori Health and Wellness is southern Utah's original IV ketamine clinic, serving patients in St. George, Washington County, and the broader Las Vegas corridor. We provide medically supervised ketamine infusions for adults living with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, and related conditions.

If you have tried conventional treatments without finding lasting relief, ketamine therapy may offer a different path. Our team works with each patient individually, from the first consultation through post-session integration, to support a process that is both safe and meaningful.

How IV Ketamine Therapy Works

Ketamine is a well-studied anesthetic medication that has been used in clinical settings for decades. At sub-anesthetic doses, research suggests it supports the growth of new neural connections, a process called neuroplasticity, which may help the brain shift out of entrenched patterns associated with depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Unlike most antidepressants, which can take weeks to show effect, some patients notice changes within hours or days of a first infusion. The mechanism differs from SSRIs and SNRIs: rather than targeting serotonin, ketamine works on glutamate pathways, which is one reason it may help patients who have not responded to other medications.

IV administration is the gold standard for ketamine therapy. It allows precise dosing, rapid onset, and close monitoring throughout the session, which is why we use it exclusively at Satori.

Conditions We Treat

Satori's ketamine program is designed for adults with conditions that have not responded adequately to standard treatments. These commonly include:

  • Treatment-resistant depression (major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder)

  • Anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety and social anxiety

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

  • Chronic and neuropathic pain conditions

  • Suicidal ideation, as part of a comprehensive care plan

Not everyone is a candidate for ketamine therapy. A thorough intake assessment helps us understand your history, current medications, and treatment goals before we recommend a protocol.

Treatment Options and Pricing

We offer three IV ketamine infusion formats, each delivered in a private room with full monitoring. All sessions run approximately 90 minutes. New patients are strongly encouraged to begin with a guided option.

  • A man performs sound therapy with crystal bowls on a beach at sunset, while a woman lies on a mat wearing headphones and an eye mask, relaxing nearby.

Guided + Supervised Ketamine Infusion Therapy - $425

Our most comprehensive option. A clinician is present with you throughout your session, providing intention-setting before the infusion and integration support afterward. Recommended for first-time patients, those with complex histories, or anyone who wants the highest level of guided support.

  • A man relaxing on a beach chair at the beach with eyes covered by a sleep mask, wearing headphones, while a person in a black shirt speaks to him.

Guided Integration Ketamine Infusion Therapy - $375

A graduated option that includes personalized intention-setting, remote therapeutic supervision during your session, and full post-session integration. Designed for patients who prefer privacy during the infusion itself while still benefiting from clinical guidance before and after.

  • A woman wearing a blindfold and headphones relaxes in a recliner chair while receiving a virtual reality experience of a sunset on a beach, with an IV drip nearby in a cozy room with indoor plants and modern furniture.

    VIP Self-Guided Ketamine Infusion Therapy - $300

Our most flexible format, designed for experienced patients who are familiar with the ketamine experience and prefer an independent session. Supportive monitoring is provided throughout. Not recommended for patients who have not completed at least one guided session.

Why Satori

Satori was the first integrated ketamine clinic to open in southern Utah. Every infusion we administer is IV-based, in a private room, with individualized care. We do not offer group sessions or quick-turnaround infusions in shared spaces.

Our clinical team includes nurse practitioners with specialized training and a medical director who oversees all treatment protocols. New patients receive guided sessions that include intention-setting and post-session integration as standard, not as an add-on.

What to Expect

Before your first session, you will complete an intake assessment. This typically includes a review of your mental health history, current medications, and treatment goals. Not everyone who inquires is a good candidate, and we will be transparent about that during the consultation.

On session day, plan to be at the clinic for approximately two hours. You will not be able to drive afterward and should arrange a ride. We ask that you arrive having fasted for at least four hours.

During the infusion, you may experience perceptual shifts, a sense of deep relaxation, or introspective states. Most patients describe the experience as manageable and, in many cases, meaningful. A staff member monitors you throughout.

After your session, we will schedule a brief integration conversation to help you process what came up and carry it forward.

What is Ketamine?

Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic, used widely for over 60 years!

By definition, Ketamine is a medicinal substance that administers an anesthetic effect on its users. When it is safely administered, it allows patients to experience a transcendent state, free from the ruminating thoughts that often beset us.

Recent research has found it to be a transformative treatment for mental health. It dissociates you from your limiting thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and feelings.

It can help you gain insight into YOUR true nature and self.

Why Ketamine?

Our skilled medical providers deliver ketamine treatment because it is highly effective at treating mood disorders. Additionally, the relationships we form with our patients are some of the most meaningful relationships in our own lives. The process of ketamine treatment is therapeutic for patients and providers alike.

  • Most patients experience a noticeable decrease in suicidal thoughts in 2-24 hours after treatment.

  • Having such a fast turn-around can make all the difference, especially for patients who feel like they can no longer cope with their depression and anxiety.

  • Based on statistics and research, we know ketamine therapy provides a serious solution to those battling with mental health.

How Does Ketamine Work for Depression?

Ketamine Treatments work differently than antidepressants. Antidepressants take a few weeks to work their way into your system before the effects are noticeable, and even then, you may end up having to try several different types to find one that works for you. Some patients even experience an increase in their depression as a result.

  • Ketamine is different. Its effects on depression are noticeable in as little as 2 to 24 hours after the very first treatment.

If you feel like you have tried to tackle your anxiety and depression with no success, our providers are here to help give you a possible fast acting solution in a SAFE environment!

What to Expect During a Treatment

Before beginning any treatment, our providers take the time to talk to our patients one-on-one. It is important that we understand your background and what you have been going through that has led you to us for help. We want to treat you, but more importantly get to know you, because we care about having a positive effect and building relationships with our patients.

  • After your consultation, the specific dose and treatment duration most effective for you will be determined. Factors like your weight are taken into account when choosing the correct dosage.

  • For patient privacy and the safety of both the patient and our providers we do not allow guests in the room during the patient’s initial sessions. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • We recommend you wear comfortable clothes that you would normally use to lounge in.

  • You'll be connected to monitors tracking your blood pressure and oxygen levels throughout the treatment. A thin, flexible tube is inserted into a vein to deliver the ketamine directly into your bloodstream. The process is virtually painless, even for those who dislike needles. You'll be monitored by a skilled provider during the procedure. For added privacy, we offer options after initial sessions that allow for treatment without a practitioner in the room. Ketamine reaches the brain within seconds, so you'll remain seated and comfortable throughout.

  • Many patients enjoy listening to music during their treatments and express a relaxing and pleasant experience.

  • A typical treatment lasts between 40-50 minutes, but expect to be there for at least 90 min so we can settle you in, start your treatment, and make sure you feel your best before sending you home with your driver. You must have a driver when you leave our clinic, as driving after your session is .

Choosing Music During Your Treatment

  • We recommend specific playlists of music during ketamine treatments.

  • Since your mind will remain active, it is important to keep your stimulation low and avoid high-energy music.

  • Any songs you associate with strong positive memories, or songs that are tranquil and peaceful are the best choice.

  • Music that’s familiar, or has lyrics, will often prevent you from completely letting go and giving into the journey as it is often distracting.

To you (our patient and fellow human being):

The first step in treating your anxiety, pain, or depression is asking for help. We are not here to judge, we are here to help. No one should have to struggle with mental health alone. We strongly suggest coming in for a consultation so we can get to know you as a person.
