Welcome Back.

Returning to care is a meaningful step. Whether you're continuing a series or coming back after some time away, we're ready to pick up where you left off.

Many patients find the
greatest gains come with time.

Research suggests that a series of infusions tends to produce stronger and longer-lasting results than a single session. Each treatment builds on the last, and your care team can refine your protocol based on what you've already experienced.

Cumulative Effect

Studies suggest that repeated ketamine infusions may produce a compounding therapeutic effect. Many patients report that benefits deepen and stabilize over a full series rather than peaking after a single session.

Personalized Protocol

Your provider already knows your history, your response, and what worked. Returning means your care can be fine-tuned: adjusted dosing, timing, and integration support tailored specifically to you.

Sustained Relief

Some patients benefit from periodic maintenance sessions after completing an initial series. These can help sustain progress and may reduce the frequency of difficult symptom cycles over time.

What to keep in mind
coming back.

Returning patients often find sessions feel more familiar and intentional. A few things to have in mind before you arrive.

Bring notes on your last session

Even brief observations about your experience, mood changes, or sleep patterns since your last infusion are valuable. Your provider uses this information to adjust your care.

Arrange a ride in advance

You will not be able to drive after your session. Please arrange a driver ahead of time. Rideshare is fine; we just ask that someone is available to accompany you home.

Set an intention for the session

Many patients find it helpful to arrive with a simple intention or question in mind. This is not required, but it can give the experience more focus and make integration afterward easier.

Fast for 4 hours beforehand

No solid food for at least 4 hours before your infusion. Clear liquids are fine. This is standard for all sessions and helps ensure your comfort and safety.

Disclose any medication changes

If your prescriptions have changed since your last visit, let your provider know before your session. Some medications interact with ketamine and may need to be accounted for.

Plan a gentle rest of day

Try to keep your schedule clear after your appointment. Many patients find the hours following a session useful for reflection. Avoid demanding obligations that day if possible.

Choose the session that fits where you are.

We offer several session formats for returning patients. Your provider can help you decide which option makes the most sense based on your goals and how you responded previously.

Know someone who
could benefit?

If someone you care about is struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or chronic pain and hasn't found relief through other treatments, ketamine therapy may be worth exploring. When you refer them to Satori, both of you benefit.

Referrals are one of the most meaningful ways to grow our community of care. We take them seriously and make sure every person you send to us is welcomed with the same attention you received.

  1. Tell them about Satori

  2. They mention your name at intake

  3. You both receive a benefit

Your Questions, Answered
  • That depends on your treatment goals and how you responded to previous sessions. For patients completing an initial series, sessions are typically spaced a few days to a week apart. For maintenance visits, the interval is usually much longer and varies by individual. Your provider will make a recommendation based on your specific history.

  • In most cases, no. We have your records on file. However, if significant time has passed or if your health or medications have changed, we may ask you to complete a brief update before your next session. When you book, let us know and we can confirm what's needed.

  • You're always welcome to return, even after a long gap. We'll review your history, talk through any changes in your health or medications, and make sure your protocol still makes sense for where you are now. Coming back after time away is common and we treat it without judgment.

  • Yes. If you have a preference, let us know when you book and we'll do our best to accommodate it based on scheduling availability. Continuity of care matters to us.

  • Maintenance sessions follow the same clinical process as series sessions. The main difference is spacing and intent: rather than building toward an initial therapeutic threshold, maintenance infusions are used to sustain gains already achieved. Your provider may adjust dosing based on your response over time.Maintenance sessions follow the same clinical process as series sessions.
