Chronic pain is pain that persists for three months or longer, often after the original injury or illness has healed. At Satori, we start with a consultation to understand your pain history and what you've already tried, then talk through whether ketamine infusion therapy, a medical cannabis evaluation, or a combination makes sense for you. We don't put every patient on the same protocol.
Can Ketamine Therapy Help with Chronic Pain?
Ketamine works differently than most pain medications. Instead of just numbing pain signals, it acts on NMDA receptors in the brain and nervous system, which research suggests may help interrupt the pain signaling patterns involved in some chronic pain conditions, particularly nerve-related pain.
